What have you always wanted to do? Carnival helps create fun and memorable first-time experiences every day onboard their ships, whether it's riding a wave runner or parasailing above the Caribbean. Unfortunately 76% of Americans aren't aware of what a cruise has to offer. With that in mind, we wanted to expose consumers to everything that's possible on a Carnival cruise, and bring those first-time experiences to cruise rookies everywhere.

BUILDING AMERICA'S LIST // ONLINE
To encourage consumers to create their list of new things, we assembled popular firsts and asked our Facebook fans to choose which firsts they would like to try in 2011, whether part of the cruise experience or not.





EXPERIENCING FIRSTS AT SEA // OLV
We sent real families and couples on cruises and captured them trying new things.





EXPERIENCING FIRSTS EVERYWHERE // INTEGRATED
We gave consumers in key markets who had checked something off their "bucket list" the chance to star on a digital billboard in their hometown for a month.




We also created events for people to try things they'd never tried before.



Some of those people included Ellen, Al Roker, and Maroon 5.


FUN FOR ALL // OOH
We created interactive OOH which kept the momentum going.
